Bill Stepec is an experienced club marketing professional with deep roots in the club industry and a strong commitment to advancing both club-level member engagement and broader industry development through volunteer leadership.
Professional Background & Club Role
Bill currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications at the Ontario Racquet Club in Mississauga, where he leverages creativity, technical expertise, and communication strategy to strengthen the club’s brand and member experience.
He began his career at the Ontario Racquet Club in 2003 as part of the Reception Team and has since grown into a key leadership role within the club’s administrative team. Over the years, Bill has held roles in various departments — including finance and member services — which has given him a well-rounded understanding of club operations and member engagement. From managing the club website and social media to leading internal and external promotions, he plays a vital role in how the club connects with its community.
Bill holds a degree in Media Studies from the University of Guelph, which underpins his strategic approach to communications and marketing within the club environment.
Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) Involvement
Bill is actively involved with the CMAC Ontario Branch, one of the largest branches of the Club Management Association of Canada — a national professional association committed to advancing excellence in club management.
In his volunteer capacity, Bill serves as the Membership & Marketing Committee Chair as well as is on the CMAC Ontario Branch Board of Directors, where he helps guide initiatives that support member engagement, branch visibility, and professional networking opportunities for club industry professionals across Ontario.
In addition, he chairs key branch committees and contributes thought leadership to industry conversations — such as writing for CMAC’s blog on topics like member pulse surveys and engagement strategies.
