Alena Miatlushka, MCATD, is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. She specializes in hotel pre-openings, brand repositioning, and strategic HR and training leadership, having supported regional HR communities and delivered global people initiatives aligned with business goals.

Her career includes senior HR leadership roles with globally recognized hotel brands, overseeing multi-property portfolios, leading talent strategy, and managing organizational change and crisis situations. She was recognized as “HR Person of the Year” by Hotelier Middle East Magazine, receiving high commendation in 2010 and winning the award in 2012.

In 2021, Alena joined The Boulevard Club in Toronto, where she leads employee experience and HR strategy. Under her leadership, the Club earned Great Place to Work® certification for three consecutive years and received multiple industry recognitions, including CMAC Club of the Year (large category) in 2025.

A certified facilitator and former world-class athlete, Alena brings a coaching-focused leadership style grounded in adult education and leadership development.

Alena Miatlushka, MCATD, is a member of the CMAC Ontario Branch Board of Directors, where she serves as Chair of the Professional Pathways Committee.

In this role, she leads initiatives focused on career development, certification pathways, educational partnerships, and career awareness, while also supporting collaboration with national and international partners to strengthen the talent pipeline in club management.
